    To get the fastest and and most precise price quote, please attach the document to be translated, and explain both the target text’s purpose and desired day of completion. The quote itself is free and non-binding, and your information will be handled with utmost confidentiality. The final price of the service will depend on language pair, content of the text, its length, possible rush fees and other agreed upon additional services.

    Conditions of contract

    Translation commissions will be based on a contract that includes General Terms of Contract for Translations (1/2008) according to The Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (SKTL). If you have any questions or wishes regarding these points, please specify it in your contact email. The contents of the service, price, payment terms, delivery schedule and other terms will be agreed on a case-by-case basis.

    Personal Introduction & Contact information

    Hi and welcome! I’m a self-employed translator and native Finnish speaker who has been providing language services between Finnish, Japanese and English since 2022. I have an educational background in Japanese language and culture, as well as software localization from the University of Helsinki. I’ve primarily worked with technical texts, including user manuals and other documentation for devices such as medical equipment and vehicle software. In addition, I’ve translated brochures, websites, and other types of texts from various fields intended for publication in both workplace environments and for end users.

    I have extensive experience working with both translation agencies and direct clients, and I am proficient in the use of industry-standard CAT tools, including Trados, memoQ, and Phrase.
